RE: Our best chance yet for a new WTC 7 Investigation
Thank you for being one of 2,157 architects and engineers to sign the AE911Truth petition calling for a new investigation into the destruction of the World Trade Center.
Today we have a concrete opportunity to realize our goal of obtaining a new investigation: the High-Rise Safety Initiative. When passed by the voters on November 4, 2014, this ballot initiative, sponsored by the NYC Coalition for Accountability Now (NYC CAN), will amend the New York City Charter to require the Department of Buildings to investigate the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7.
This is exactly what we have been working toward for years – and so we must do everything in our power to ensure this measure wins.
First, to make it onto the ballot, the campaign must gather 110,000 signatures from NYC voters, and to fund that effort they must raise $250,000 by the end of May.
More than 300 people have donated to the campaign since it was announced on February 1st. This is a great start, but only the beginning. Over the next three and a half months we must bring the total from 300 to 3,000.
If just half of us who signed the AE911Truth petition donated today, the High-Rise Safety Initiative would be nearly halfway to its goal of 3,000 donations.
Will you donate today to help bring the campaign halfway to its goal? Please visit HighRiseSafetyNYC.org today.
Thank you again for having the courage to sign the AE911Truth petition, and for your continued support of our efforts.
