Part 20: Those Who Lack Conscience and Empathy
In addressing the question in the title of this essay, the last segment, Government Manipulation and the Big Lie, reflected on the “big lie” Nazi leadership employed and showed clear parallels with the deception U.S. leaders promulgated concerning the attacks of September 11, 2001. We learned about the psychological defense of projection, which most of us employ from time to time in a relatively innocuous form, as well as the extreme and dangerous form of projection called scapegoating. We looked at the conundrum of those people who suspect or know they are being lied to, but cling to the web of lies told to them by authorities for their “vanity, comfort, and/or self-interests.” Finally, we learned that history is replete with one special form of the big lie: false flag events.
Here, in this installment, we continue Ms. Shure's analysis with Part 20: Those Who Lack Conscience and Empathy.
