Five weeks from tomorrow, on May 21, we will be at the annual business meeting of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) advocating for the passage of Resolution 16-3, which calls upon the AIA to support a new WTC 7 investigation.
This resolution — which will be read by at least 1,000 AIA members — goes much further than last year’s resolution. It presents over three pages of evidence related to the destruction of WTC 7 as the basis for supporting a new investigation. I invite you to read the powerful language we’ve put forward.
We’re also going much further than last year in our preparation for the business meeting. The first time around we didn’t know what to expect, so we were outnumbered and overpowered. This year we’ll have many AIA members ready to speak in support of the resolution.
Now we need your help to awaken thousands of architects and garner a much larger share of the vote than we did last year. So far, we’ve raised $7,500 of our $20,000 campaign budget (thank you to the 200 donors who’ve contributed thus far!). Will you help us raise the remaining $12,500 by next Sunday?
Here’s What Your Generous Contribution Will Pay for:
- The design, printing, and mailing of 5,000 campaign brochures. About half of them will be sent to 2,300 local, regional, and national AIA leaders; the other half will be handed out at the convention;
- A 10’ x 10’ expo booth, plus accessories, which costs over $5,000;
- 2,000 DVDs of 9/11: Explosive Evidence — Experts Speak Out and Solving the Mystery of Building 7 to hand out at our booth;
- Travel and lodging for our staff and a handful of AIA members, all of whom will participate in our on-the-floor educational efforts.
Please stand behind us as we continue to chip away at resistance within the architecture and engineering communities. Truth will prevail if we refuse to go away.
