The 9/11 Studies Club at the PCC Sylvania Campus in Portland is one of the most active 9/11 Truth groups in the country. Through a variety of activities, club members have engaged students, faculty, and community members in ongoing discussions about the many questions surrounding the events of September 11, 2001. In so doing, they have helped further the pursuit of justice for those who died on that tragic day.
Now 9/11 Studies Club members have come up with an extra-ambitious idea: They plan to bring the WTC evidence to thousands at the Oregon State Fair!
In August, the club will host a major exhibit at the fair on behalf of the non-profit organization Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth
. AE911Truth now represents more than 2,800 building professionals who dispute the official explanations given for why World Trade Center Buildings 1, 2, and 7 fell. Thanks to the efforts of the Portland representatives for AE911Truth, Oregonians will learn about the WTC evidence and about the mission of these architects and engineers—in many cases for the first time ever.
Volunteers will be manning a booth and distributing AE911Truth educational materials to passersby every day of the fair, which runs from August 25th to September 4th. The booth will feature a large- screen TV, which will show, in a continuous loop, the seven-second fall of the 47-story Building 7 in the late afternoon of 9/11. Viewers will be encouraged to offer their own thoughts on whether they believe WTC 7's demise looks like a fire-induced progressive collapse or a controlled demolition. Watching it come down on the video will kick-start conversations about how all three towers fell into their own footprint.
